The Weather is Confused

We had snow. The barnyard looked like this with all the geese webbed feet tracks.

Today it looks like this.

This warm weather has Muffin confused too. Do you see what is on her horns?

She's losing her undercoat!

I tried telling her that she's going to regret shedding so soon, but she doesn't listen to me.

I have to admit it is tempting because our snow is disappearing.

Linking to Deborah Jean's Farmgirl Friday.

Tell us about it - it was in the high 40ies over the weekend but it will only be in the teens tomorrow. We have grown and shed our undercoats so many time we don't know under from overcoats!

I know what you mean. Our mountain passes were closed for the first time this last weekend, due to snow. Usually they're closed in October thru Mid-March... Hang in there. Poor Milly. You just know it's gonna get cold and she'll need a new coat.

Yes, it is a confusing time for the plants and animals. Love the last shot! :)

Nike goat here is shedding out her undercoat already too and we have the potential for winter weather through at least the end of March!
