I've Had It

I'm tired of this weather.  Really, it's supposed to get down to -13*F tonight.  I'm just dreaming.

Don't those clover look lovely and yummy?  Mmmmm....

Some Guys

Some guys don't have the good sense to go in their shelter in a winter storm.  See them.

That's probably where the spent the whole night while it was snowing and blowing.  I don't know because I'm a smart doe and I go in the warm building.

Just because Marley has one side totally covered in ice and snow, why would they want to go inside?



They're afraid they're going to miss out on something, so they'd rather stay outside freezing their...

"Hey, Human, are you bringing us a treat?"

wait they don't have anything to freeze off.

Annie is Ornery Again

Annie was feeling ornery again this past weekend, you know before it was freezing rain.

She and Dolly were butting heads through the fence.  They seemed to be having a really good time.



Pam was watching them.



I think she's wishing she weren't so big and round so she could go have fun too.

The Difference a Day Makes

Yesterday we were basking in glorious sunshine.  It was wonderful.

I think Kizzy might have had one or two hanging off her chin.  I liked yesterday's weather better.

The Luck of Being Hand Fed

It was mentioned how I was lucky to be hand fed some of that yummy pumpkin.  Luck had nothing to do with it.  See Coral happened to be right by the pumpkin when the human broke it open.

That was lucky.  She got a bite before the greedy ones swarmed the pumpkin treat.  Yes, one of them is my Bambi.  She and Coffee will run over anyone to get food.



I thought I'd go get a bite to eat.  After all, I am one of the ranking goats here.





I finally got through the crowd of goats.



Just as I was going to get a yummy bite to eat,



Bambi!

I just turned and gave my human the goat stare of death.  She knew she'd better get me a bite of that yummy pumpkin.



Poor Coral didn't get another bite after those piggies showed up.



She's not very good at the goat stare of death either, so the human didn't hand feed her any.

Treats

Okay, we really did get a pumpkin treat last weekend.  I just couldn't resist sharing my extra treat though.

With all those other greedy goats, the human brought me some of the good seeds and stuff.

My Treat

Nobody guessed what my treat was!  I was in the barnyard eating my hay. (Yes, I'm still wearing my coat because it's still cold.)

I looked up and saw the human.

Then I ran to see her!

She had an apple treat for me!

I love apples!

Cannibal Annie

We were just hanging out the other day (before it got so cold) when Annie came up to me.



I thought she was being nice and just showing me some respect.



But then...



She tried eating my horn!

I must say I was shocked!

Can you believe this?

Frigid

It is too blasted cold for any good out there.  It was -6*F early this morning, and it never got past +6*F all day.



The human did give us an extra meal though.



And she bought me a bigger coat that I got to wear.  I'm still wearing it tonight.



Still, it's just too dang cold.

What's Wrong With This Picture

What's wrong with Bud and Coral being all friendly?



Maybe you forgot.  Bud was supposed to be in the same pen as Marley.



He was very much in love and managed to sneak out to be with his darling, Coral.  Nothing (including a fence) can stand in the way of true love.
