Mirror Ball Trophy Winner

We have a winner for this fall's version of Dancing With the Stars.

Marley has been voted the clear winner.  Mostly because as a wether he's not stinky.

Another Hair-brained Human Excuse

First it was the rain that kept the human from taking blog photos for me.  Now guess what the excuse is.

Marley.  She says every time she tries to take a picture for me, Marley is sniffing the camera or her sleeve or pulling her hair.

Can you believe that?

She says 200 pounds of Marley is a bit intimidating when she's crouched down blindly taking photos for me.



He looks pretty sweet and innocent to me.

Happy Boys

The human made all three of our "big boys" happy.  Boeris has six girls with him.



Love is definitely in the air!



Fionn got all of these girls.



He got these girls too.  He's got nineteen girls with him!



Marley got to come out to pasture with us.



He's never been in the Back Forty before, so I let him follow with me.





He's pretty happy to be out here.

Our Big Boys

Our three big boys are in the small pasture like they were last year.  But this year, Marley is not a buck.

Marley, Boeris, and Fionn

That means Boeris is now the Big Daddy.

He spends his time annoying Marley, who doesn't even care about us does anymore.

 He just wants to eat grass and tree stumps.

Fionn is just glad Boeris is leaving him alone.

They make an interesting group of guys...

For some reason, Moose reminds us all of his grandbuck, Marley.

  It's Fionn.  The human moved Fionn back up with his daddy.  They were playing.

Some Guys

Some guys don't have the good sense to go in their shelter in a winter storm.  See them.

That's probably where the spent the whole night while it was snowing and blowing.  I don't know because I'm a smart doe and I go in the warm building.

Just because Marley has one side totally covered in ice and snow, why would they want to go inside?



They're afraid they're going to miss out on something, so they'd rather stay outside freezing their...

"Hey, Human, are you bringing us a treat?"

wait they don't have anything to freeze off.

Some big Marley goat was kind of wound up and wanting to play with the human.

She wasn't too sure about it.  Did she actually think Marley would be naughty or something?  Really, he's a sweet boy.
