Sad in All the Happy

We have been very blessed with a lot of beautiful kids.  I'll have to finish introducing them tomorrow.  Today, I have to tell you that we've also had a bit of sadness.

Pam's kids:  Tucker in back and Tansy in front
Pam had her beautiful kids, but she didn't get rid of the placenta.  You really don't want to keep that because it makes you sick.

The human gave her antibiotics and tried to help her, but Pam passed from this world and joined her maa, Cutie.  We will all miss her.

More Babies

Pam had her kids last night.

Girl and Boy
She has a boy and a girl.  Some goats really need to start naming their kids.  It makes it really hard to do introductions.

Blaze surprised everyone in the middle of the night by having three boys!

Lots of triplets!

We're Waiting

We're waiting on seven girls to have babies.  The human is already driving us crazy with her hovering.

Pam Street

She wakes us up in the night with that bright light, and I hear her naming off and counting the girls that are due.  We'll be glad when the kids arrive!

For some reason, Pam decided she didn't want to walk all the way to the cattle tank, so she decided to just have some snow.

But lip-smacking good!

Silly Pam.  What are we going to do with her?

Annie is Ornery Again

Annie was feeling ornery again this past weekend, you know before it was freezing rain.

She and Dolly were butting heads through the fence.  They seemed to be having a really good time.

Pam was watching them.

I think she's wishing she weren't so big and round so she could go have fun too.

Left Behind

These two were dilly dallying around and got left in the barnyard when the rest of us went out to pasture.

Pam and Maisie

After they kept hollering at us for a while, the human took pity on them and walked with them.

Soon they saw us, and they left the human behind.

Back with the herd, they were all happy.

Sometimes the human can be pretty nice.  Sometimes.

Pam be laying on the picnic table, just a sweet smelling vision. That Osmo be's lurking under the table.

Bullseye liked her smell too, and he followed hers up.  But he misses his Harley maa, so he keeped maaing for her.

She be's so sweet.  Me's in love.

Me's not get close, cuz that Osmo be closerest.  He be's scary.

Bullseye still be's hollering.  Guess he nots be so big as he thinked.

Oh, Pam.  Pam, my bee-u-tee-ful Pam...

See...she nots get away from Osmo.

"Really, boys.  Can you just go away?"

Me's human be threatening Osmo.  She be's planning on throwing him in wif me's Marley buck if he acts like this with littler girls.
