Meg and Her Shadow

Meg is not getting along with her shadow again.

"What are you looking at?"

The two spent quite a bit of time fighting while it was nice yesterday.

Finally, Meg just gave her shadow the raspberry and walked away because it just wouldn't quit fighting back.

"Fine.  Take that!"

We might have to have a talk with that girl about her fighting ways.

Hibernating

We've decided we might just hibernate until spring.

"Go away.  I'm trying to nap here," says Sugar

Muffin and Jelly

But we'll still come out for supper.  Definitely.

"Hey, Human!  Did you bring me some treats?" Cookie wants to know.

And treats, too.  Yep.  That's our plan.

Island

We had rain this weekend, so it's all muddy.  Meg seems to have found a food pan island in the midst of the mud.

Well, maybe not quite.  At least she's keeping her hooves dry.

We didn't have to eat grain soup for supper either, since the human dumped them to dry out.

Nice Things

The human says all the time, "This is why we don't have nice things!"

I think she's exaggerating.  How about you?

Meg has this routine down perfectly!

Me's human maa bringed us funnerest costumes to wears and greets the new year.

Head Butt

Meg was feeling a bit ornery, and she went over and pushed against my Joe.  She had her head right on Joe's butt.

Joe seemed to be saying, "Can you scratch a little to the left?"

Finally Meg realized she wasn't annoying Joe, so she changed her tactics.

Someone is a Copy Goat

Meg is copying my style.

She decided to beat the cattle panels and put a hole in her horn, so now she has a cast. I think she was just jealous of my wonderful horn casts, but she only has one.

Looks kind of funny that way, doesn't she?

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yep, it's the day we celebrate my birthday!

Although I must say I was not happy that I had to have Dr. Hickman come see me today. The human is such a worrier, especially since I'm four months pregnat. I have a bit of evening cough because of our warm wet evenings.

I'm fine really. I certainly did not deserve the rude exam I received. Harumph! I did get a peanut though. I did last night too.

It's also the day we celebrate my twin sister Minnie's birthday.

She was enjoying the peanut treats too.

Cutie also gets to celebrate her birthday with us.

See we weren't born on the farm, so we don't know the exact day we were born. We all celebrate on February 1.

We all turned eight-years-old. Even Meg.

She wasn't happy to see Dr. Hickman either because he chopped and picked at her sore hoof. It's back to a bit of hoof rot.

(Don't tell her, but I heard the human say she was going to do more garlic treatments and put the boot back on before our bad weather this weekend).
