Every Family Has One

Ours is Sugar.  We don't get it.

She says she likes the way the metal tastes.

Hibernating

We've decided we might just hibernate until spring.

"Go away.  I'm trying to nap here," says Sugar

Meg

That would be the best thing.

Muffin and Jelly

But we'll still come out for supper.  Definitely.

"Hey, Human!  Did you bring me some treats?" Cookie wants to know.
And treats, too.  Yep.  That's our plan.

It Might Be Time

Sugar, really, it might be time to think about weaning your kid.

I think Scout will be just fine without nursing.

Penny Takes Matters into Her Own Hooves

Sugar and Penny were staring at the cedar tree and just wishing for it to come down so they could eat it.

Well, Penny finally decided to do something about it instead of just standing there staring at those yummy cedar branches.

Then everyone wanted a bite!

Those other goats should figure it out on their own.

Blissful Lily

Lily certainly does look like she found the perfect scratching log.

Sugar watched her and saw how blissful she looked.

She decided she should try it too.

There's nothing like scratching bliss.

It Feels So Good

It really is nice to be out in pasture on that green grass.  Of course some goats enjoy it a bit more than others.

Sugar

I think Sugar's kids think she's a little silly.  Don't most kids feel that way about their maa though?

If only I were a young goat, I'd be joining them.

Playing

I think Sugar and her kids are enjoying being able to go outside.  There's fresh air and sunshine.

The kids have really gotten bouncy.

Yep.  I'd say they are enjoying it!

Grandkids and Great-Grandkids

Pebbles have me more grandkids.  Two boys named Tom and Huck.

Her daughter Sugar gave me three great-grandkids!

She's too busy eating to name them yet.
