My Hut!

I love standing in the quonset hut.  It keeps the wind off me.



But I still get all that sunshine.



I love it!  Look what happened to it today!



The wind blew it over!



It certainly had Reva confused.



Luckily, my human servant came out and put it all back the way it's supposed to be.

Windy Weather

We've had some quite windy weather lately.

Marley can even see out of one eye.

Only because the wind was blowing his long bangs out of the way.

Do you think he should get a haircut?

Better Weather

Today was much better. It wasn't raining.

We got to spread out instead of being packed in the barn to stay dry, and some of us went outside to eat.

Now it's much cooler and windy.

Still, it's a lot better than rain and snow.

For the Boys

When the human was nice and brought us girls those yummy corn husks, she also dumped a tub of cornhusks over the fence for the boys. Marley was eating them quite happily.

Fionn is in there. You just have to look closely to see him and his cute curls.

That's because there was a huge wind. It blew the husks back onto the fence. Flower was quick to notice that she could reach those husks.

Then the race was on.

We all enjoyed the boys' corn husks.

A Friendly Breeze

Betty Lou loves maple leaves. The problem is she can't reach them.

The human calls this dream wishing. No matter how hard she wishes, she can only dream about eating those leaves.

Still she puts all her focus on the leaves.

Oops. Forget to focus on the edge of the table.

Still, if she tries really hard

the wind just might help her out.

She just might get it!

Now she's not going to let go.

"And you doubted me!" she says.

A Windy Day

The wind blew and blew and blew today. The quonset hut blew over.

Then it was blowing back and forth on its top.

I think Bob was testing the aerodynamics of his face.

Meg's beard was blowing in the wind.

Felix isn't shaking his head. That's the wind blowing his ear.

The roosters' feathers were blowing all hither tither. Yep. They were fighting again.

I hope the wind dies down before a kid blows completely away!

Windy

Hold onto your horns! It is very windy.

Heather was very creative in trying to find some place out of the wind.
