A Noisy Time

It's that noisy time of year when the human tells us that the little boys have to be weaned.

Four More Kids

We've had four more kids since my last time telling you about babies being born.

Betty Lou is now staying in the greenhouse and browsing in the yard because she has triplets.

It kind of freaks her out when she has so many kids, so she's sequestered in there until she gets a handle on them.

Triplets?

Do you think Betty Lou might be having triplets again this year?  She is looking awfully round.

It's hard for her to lay down even.

But once she's down, oh, she does enjoy a good face rub in the grass.

It's just too much work to get back up.

She just enjoys browsing on the grass in front of her.

I think she'll be glad to have her kids arrive, no matter how many there are.

When It's Muddy

Betty Lou knows that when it's muddy in the barnyard, you have to be creative to keep your feet clean.

Too bad some of us want to lick that mineral block.

Betty Lou and the Goose

Bettly Lou and the goose both want to drink out of the bucket of water the human set out for us goats. Who do you think is going to win?

I think Betty Lou sees something. Maybe she has an idea.

Looks like the goose won, but what's she looking at?

Betty Lou went to the cattle tank.

Can you believe we have to put up with those geese?

Love is Fickle

Coffee has left Boeris and traveled to the other end of the barnyard where Marley is.

She even tried climbing the fence to get to him. So much for the love of her life, Boeris.

Or maybe it's just because Betty Lou was whispering sweet nothings in Boeris's ear today.

And it looks like he was enjoying it!

A Friendly Breeze

Betty Lou loves maple leaves. The problem is she can't reach them.

The human calls this dream wishing. No matter how hard she wishes, she can only dream about eating those leaves.

Still she puts all her focus on the leaves.

Oops. Forget to focus on the edge of the table.

Still, if she tries really hard

the wind just might help her out.

She just might get it!

Now she's not going to let go.

"And you doubted me!" she says.
