A Fight

There was a nasty goose fight. I don't know how, but nobody got hurt.

What was this fight about.

One single egg...

Hot

I know I complain about rain and snow, but this is ridiculous. We're on a five day stretch of 80* or above.

I'm wearing a winter coat. There's no leaves on the shade trees. We're positively melting.

St. Patrick's Day

I hope you all had a great St. Patrick's Day. As goats, we don't really pay attention to the calendar. When the human came out with green stuff in her hands, we got really excited. We were hoping for grass. Instead, it was torture.

"I'm posing. I'm cute.

Now can you take this off and give me a treat?"

Maggie is a show off. She'll wear any hat and enjoy it and pose.

Cookie was wearing a hat.

"Maaa!

Make Casey leave my hat alone!"

Jilly with a bow.

Minnie Pearl got to wear a hat.

"What is that?

This is what I think of this if I can't eat it!"

We hope you all had a great St. Patrick's Day. If you want to see more of the human's pictures of us dressed for St. Patrick's Day, click HERE.

A Stupid Human Story

I have to correct something. I'm really embarrassed. I didn't mean for it to go this far, but my human is awfully dense. I'm here to maa the truth to you now.

It all started on the day I had my kid. The human came out early in the morning and gave Lily's twin boys each a bottle.

When she came back three hours later, I'd already had my kid and her kid. She kind of went a little loopy. She was trying to feed Lily's boys again. She was trying to keep them from bouncing on Lily.

They were butting the human's kid and my kid and trying to nurse me. She was having fits because it was chilly, so she picked one kid up and put it under the heat lamp announcing it was a boy. (That's the one I gave her.)

Then she picked up my kid and put it under the heat lamp announcing it was a girl. I was tired and didn't feel like correcting her. After all, I had just given birth. Seriously, I figured she'd notice. I just waited to see how long it would take, and then I kind of forgot about it.

Then couple of days later, she named my kid Miranda. I started thinking I should say something, but I didn't know how. After all, it had been a couple of days.

Then she asked me about her kid, and I tried telling her about Miranda, but all I could get out was, "My son..." That's when she named her kid Myson.

I didn't mean for it to go on this long. Really, it was just a, "Whatever, she'll figure it out." Then it became awkward to tell the human because it had gone on for so long. I was almost hoping she'd never notice because I didn't want her to get mad because I didn't tell her.

Luckily, after two weeks the human's mother noticed what the human had missed.

Miranda is a boy! I am thankful this whole mess is over. The human didn't get mad (just very embarrassed). I hope you aren't mad at me either.

Bambi is Due

I've been very busy raising my little girl. (Look~one of her eye danglies fell off.)

That doesn't mean I've forgotten about my Bambi.

She's due to have her baby on March 22. That's just about a week from now.

The human is preparing a nice place for her to have her baby. That panel she's walking on is going to be used to make the birthing pen.

She says Bambi has to share with Pam.

Pam is due on March 21.

I hope that Pam doesn't pick on my sweet baby. I might have to come take things into my own hooves if she does.

The Human is Nuts

After having her little boy for a week, the human still hadn't come up with a name for him.

She went through several names, but just didn't like any of them.

Finally, she came to me for advice on what to name him.

I told her, "If I were you, I'd call him my son." After all, I called Simon and Theodore my sons. I called Elmo my son. I called Bam Bam my son. I called Elton my son. I called Beau my son.

She tilted her head and rubbed her hand against her chin and said, "Really..."

She named him Myson.

Really. Some days...
