Green

I guess I am not so upset about the rain last week.

We have green pasture again!

A Jelly Roll

Sometimes Jelly just feels like a good roll in the grass!

Don't we all.  If I were younger, I'd be enjoying that too.

Mud Again

With our snow melting, the barnyard is muddy again.



We're glad we can just go out to pasture and avoid all that mud.



It's getting really green and yummy.  The llama doesn't even come back up to the barn at night.

The ditch is awfully full though, so we haven't taken kids across it.



We're happy to be on this side anyhow!

Hopefully, winter stays away for several months now!

Grass

There's just something about all that grass.

It really makes a goat just want to lie down and enjoy it.

Opal of the Green Horns

Opal has been enjoying the lovely pasture like all of us...kind of.

She enjoyed a lovely scritch between the horns.

Then she tried scratching with some weeds.

It didn't work so well.

But her horns are a lovely green now.

Dreaming

I am dreaming

of the day we'll get to go out into all that lush green grass.

Kids Visit

We had some kids visit yesterday. They started in the house to see and help feed Myson.

Then they came outside with Myson.

Then the best part of the visit~

I got green grass

and nose scritches.

Yummy. I like when visitors give me treats!

Spring Means Green

We've had really warm weather. The rain came yesterday.

Today we had green. I really enjoyed eating that tender new grass.

It was very yummy.

That tree was kind of in my way.

I couldn't reach any farther.

The kids were eating with us.

Lily thought the tree was the perfect height for scratching her back while browsing under the tree.

We can't wait for the rest of the grass to turn green.

Then we'll get to eat green stuff all day long!

Silly Chicks

Look at those silly chicks with their heads stuck through the fence.

They are looking for good stuff to eat. That's Dora the Explorer Rooster preening his butt feathers when the human tried getting a nice picture of the hens for my blog. Roosters!

They just kept looking

and looking.

She found green stuff under the hay.

I want green stuff so badly. I really wish spring were here, but we still have a ways to go.
