Over the weekend, the human and her boy came out to the barnyard. We always worry when The Boy shows up because it seems like somebody is getting a shot, or moved or...
feet trimmed! They locked most of us up north, so we couldn't go out to pasture.
Most of us take it like nannies and just stand there (when The Boy straddles us and won't let us walk away).
Some of us (Pebbles, Scarlet) act like it's torture, and make the human get corn to catch them. How silly!
Stormy is the worst--she's got a thing against The Boy. For some reason she seems to think he's a monster. Weird. Don't know why. Anyhow, all of us girls got our hooves trimmed.
I heard The Boy asking the human about our boys. Imagine, not wanting to give their feet proper care.
Just because they have bad personal hygiene habits.
Can't believe it, but they did take care of their feet too!

The publicist says that Luke the goat is the easiest goat to deal with when it comes to trimming hooves. He doesn't even have to be locked into the stanchion. He just lets her trim away - as long as he has his grain. We does need some additional erm, encouragement.

Goliath, Marley's dad, was very good too. Most of us aren't too naughty. The human is talking about getting a stanchion or something to replace The Boy in case he ever moves out.
