Yoga Lesson

Vinnie was trying to teach her neice, Clover, a bit of yoga.

It's all about the extension and separation of the toes.

Clover was not paying attention very well.

I bet that's the last time Vinnie tries teaching Clover yoga.

If You Give a Goat a Rope

You might have heard that if you give someone enough rope, they'll hang themselves with it. Not a goat.

A goat will just eat it.

Honey

Bambi named her baby Honey.

The human fixed it so that she can't escape from Bambi's lean to.

Honey also had to go back to the vet because she needed another clip on her eye. It is very sore. We hope she'll be able to heal.

More Eye Jewelry

Bambi's baby went to the vet today.

She got eye jewelry like my little boy.

Hopefully, it will make her eyes feel better.

It did wonders for Miranda.

Once she can see better, that girl will never sit still.

Then she'll be able to get into even more trouble exploring without her maa's approval.

My New Grandkid

Bambi had her baby very early this morning.

She has a beautiful little girl. (Really, no joking this time.)

She hasn't named her daughter yet, but I'm sure she'll pick the perfect name for her.

Bambi is a good mom, but she's still figuring out this nursing thing.

I'm sure she'll get on to it very soon. She's already doing better.

I think she's doing a very good job for the first time!

Goats on the Move

There's been lots of moving around here. It started with Fionn. The human noticed that he was awfully glum being in the Love Shack by himself. He was doing his best to find something green to eat, but it didn't help him cheer up.

So the human decided to try and put him with his daddy, Marley, and Boeris. She wasn't sure how they would react, so she went in to keep an eye on Fionn. Boeris wanted to pick on him, so the human rushed to rescue him, but she was too slow.

Marley was there to defend his boy. The human was afraid Fionn would get caught between Boeris picking on him and Marley defending him, so he's back to being alone, but he's right next to the big boys. He looks much happier.

Well, that meant the Love Shack was empty. That's good because I thought I was going to have to take things into my own hooves. After Pam had her baby, she decided she wanted to kill my sweet Bambi. Luckily, the human divided the pen so Pam couldn't hurt my baby girl. Something is wrong with this picture though.

Pam's daughter, Maisie, kept coming in with Bambi. That kept Pam irritated and upset, and she was still beating on the panels and her stress kept her from getting her milk in.

That Maisie is a smart girl, however, and she was nursing my Bambi. That's not good. That's for Bambi's babies, so the human moved Pam and Maisie into the Love Shack. Pam is much calmer, and she's doing better at feeding her kid.

Then, she opened the big door on the back side of the pen where Pam and Bambi were at.

I like that because those girls left a lot of hay in there that I get to snack on now.

Bambi is happy to be out with me again. She still hasn't had her babies. I guess she takes after me with going over her due date.

And just to make things more confusing, the human has moved her baby, Myson, into this pen with us too.

How's that for goats on the move?

Nate and Moving

Nate is already learning how to do goat yoga.

I'd say he's pretty good at it.

On a completely different subject, the human has been moving a bunch of us goats around again.

Can you guess why she's moved some goats? I'll tell you tomorrow.

Kids Visit

We had some kids visit yesterday. They started in the house to see and help feed Myson.

Then they came outside with Myson.

Then the best part of the visit~

I got green grass

and nose scritches.

Yummy. I like when visitors give me treats!

A New Arrival

Pam has a little girl.

She spoils that baby horribly.

The baby truly adores her maaa.

She is awfully cute.

Oh, I can hardly wait for my Bambi to have her kids.

Spring Means Green

We've had really warm weather. The rain came yesterday.

Today we had green. I really enjoyed eating that tender new grass.

It was very yummy.

That tree was kind of in my way.

I couldn't reach any farther.

The kids were eating with us.

Lily thought the tree was the perfect height for scratching her back while browsing under the tree.

We can't wait for the rest of the grass to turn green.

Then we'll get to eat green stuff all day long!
