Like Mother Like Daughter

Is it just me, or is Cinnamon looking more and more like her maaaa, Pebbles?

Pretty soon, it's going to be hard to tell them apart.

That's okay because my Pebbles is a beautiful girl.

A Tight Spot

Coral looks like she's gotten her into a tight spot. The human went over to help get her head out of the fence.

She just pulled it out and greeted the human looking for treats. Lucky kid can still get her head through there and nibble at some green stuff.

A Mistake

I'm pretty sure the human messed up.

See all those geese were leaving.

Why would Gabby turn around and come back to the human?

She wouldn't eat that would she?

She Called me Greedy

I can't believe that human! She called me greedy.

Did she not think I'd see her blog or my loyal readers would rat her out?

I'm not greedy.

It's just that I'm very hungry.

Bambi didn't really want the bread anyhow.

After all, I'm eating for two.

Spoiled

It certainly looks like these four were spoiled by someone~Claire~before they came to live with us.

I thought they were going to try to climb through the little holes in the fence to get to that food.

You'd think they weren't getting fed around here.

They certainly don't look like they're starving.

What's that silly human doing giving them treats?

A Basking Day

Today was just wonderful for lounging around and basking in the sun. Don't tell my Joe, but she kind of looks dead and bloated. I think the human might need to put her on a diet.

Our magnificent herd queen, Minnie, was basking in all her glory.

Bud decided that he could get the coveted manger spot since everyone else was outside.

Meg figured she had the best of both the indoors and outside in her place under the quonset hut.

Even the young boys (Hickory and Fionn) were enjoying the sunshine.

Me. I preferred to stay in the barn and play my horns.

This door frame is perfect for tapping out a nice soft tune.

Baby Names

Boeris has been here for a few weeks now, and the human finally figured out his last name. It's very important to know his last name because all of his babies will have his last name.

Anyhow, when the human pulled her car in the drive and got out, she heard an awful noise. She hollered, "Is someone stuck?" She was answered with that same horrible yell. She came running in to see who was stuck, injured or letting out death cries. She discovered Boeris yelling his love songs to Litha. That's when she knew his full name was Boeris van de Yell.

That means Bambi Blackboer's baby will have the last name of van de Yell.

Pam will have van de Yell babies too.

What about that~Boeris van de Yell! Now I feel like we've been formally introduced.
