Behind Fences

We're behind fences again.

You see the burrs in my beard. The human isn't even nice enough to take them out for me.

We accidentally found ourselves in the neighbor's combined corn field. The human said we were lucky we didn't kill ourselves.

Just a little upset tummy for some, but now we're all stuck in here. Big goats.

Little goats. Everyone is locked in.

All we can do is stand and stare out to pasture and wish we were there.

I wish I were out there eating green grass and leafy shrubs and ...

Another Costume

I just want to eat my dinner quietly.

Does this look like eating a nice meal?

How much more of this do I have to endure?

Isn't Halloween over yet?

No Respect for the Expecting

Really? Can you believe that human did this to me?

Torture Bud, not me.

I guess I should be glad I didn't have a hat hanging off my ear like Minnie.

Then she...no I'm just going to hide here until you go away.

Oh, fine. See.

This is just silly.

Put it on Lotus. She deserves it.

I can't believe she's making me do this. Torment Coral, not me.

After all, I'm expecting.

A Major Announcement

The kid seems to be out of the bag, so I have a major announcement. I am expecting a Marley baby on March 2, 2012.

The human isn't happy with Marley and me (mostly Marley), but I convinced her that I am a milking nanny. I don't want to be retired. I'm healthy, and the vet gave her reassurances that I'd be fine.

Where Bambi Is

Bambi is not on the same side of the fence as me. (She didn't even get out; the human put her there.)

She's with Boeris!

If all goes well, I'll be a grandnanny again in March.

Goodness, I'm getting too old for this.

Freedom Again!

The human kept us locked up, but she felt bad.

She said she hobbled the fence together because she knew we'd be happier and healthier if we got to be out in pasture.

She let us go out tonight. It felt so nice to be running and stretching our legs!

It's also nice to be able to drink some water from the little pool.

It's not full of goose sludge. We don't like goose sludge. Ick! But this water is really good.

She made us promise to stay on our side of the fence, and we did.

I'm sharing this with Farmgirl Friday and Farm Friend Friday.
