Soap Extravaganza

Today I have come together with several other awesome soapmaking bloggers to offer a Soap Extravaganza.  There will be 8 winners of these decadent, beautiful handmade soaps.  Perfect for nourishing your tired, dry winter skin.  This is one way to bring some brightness and sunshine to the dreary winter days.
Marissa from A Homemaker's Journal crafts a wide variety of both hot and cold processed soaps.  Looking at the pictures of her soaps - they look good enough to eat, and must smell amazing too.  She sells her soaps at Lemonberry And Lime if you'd like to check out her store.
Up for grabs from her shop are a Gingersnap Crumble Goats Milk hot process soap and a So Soapy Clean artisan soap:
In addition, she is giving away another soap duo - Spiced Pumpkin Goat's Milk Cold Process Soap and a Milk Oats and Honey Artisan Soap:
Next up is Nancy, from A Rural Journal.  Nancy has sent me some of her soaps before, and I love that they aren't overly perfumed and have a marvelous lather to them.  My skin felt so smooth afterwards.  You can buy Nancy's soap in her Papio Creek Shop.  The first soap she is giving away is a Papio Creek Toasted Coconut Cold Processed Soap:
The second soap she is giving away is a Papio Creek Aromatic Anise cold processed soap:
Also participating is Teresa from Eden Hills Blog.  She has a farm with many animals, including lots of very cute goats.  Teresa crafts soaps from goat's milk, and you can visit her store at Eden Hills Market to find out more about her products.  She is giving away a Chocolate Chunk Goat Milk Soap:

And she is also giving away a Red Apple goat milk soap:

Two Bears Farm is also offering up two decorative homemade soaps.  You can check out the Two Bears Farm Etsy shop to see similar soaps.  First up is a shea butter glycerin peace dove soap, lightly scented with lemon verbena:

Also offered is a mother and child shea butter glycerin soap, lightly scented with lavender.  This would also be a wonderful gift for a new mother:

Have you found a soap you simply must have yet, readers?  Just click on the Rafflecopter below to enter:

Cyber Monday Giveaway

The human wouldn't let me post last night.  Can you believe it.  She blames it on a headache from trimming hooves in the dusty barnyard.  I'm not buying it.

Anyhow, since she wouldn't let me post last night, I said she  has to let me host a giveaway.  It's been a very long time.  And it's Cyber Monday.  I told her I'd tell you all about her market where you can buy 2013 Eden Hills calendars, feather earrings and dreamcatchers and goats milk soap.  Click the picture below to visit the market.

I'm going to give two bars of soap to one lucky person (or animal~I don't discriminate).  All you have to do to win is leave a comment telling me you'd like to be a winner.  You do have to leave some way for me and my human to contact you: blog, facebook, e-mail, so that you can choose the kinds and give us an address.

I'll pick the winner Sunday night (enter by 8:00 pm. CST) and announce the winner next Monday, December 3.

A Giveaway for my Pathetic Human

You should hear my pathetic human whining. It's all the time. "It's not fair. Millie's blog is more popular than mine."

Can I help it if I'm so darn likable? Now that she's started her on-line market, she's whining about it. "Nobody comes to visit my market." I'm tired of listening to her. So here's the deal. Go visit her market by clicking the link below. Come back and tell me what two items you'd like from her bath and body pages, and one lucky person will get their wish fulfilled by me, Millie.

Would you be like my Bambi and choose the lip balm?

Suppose the geese would like some bath salts in their feed pan bath?

Marley could certainly benefit from some goat's milk soap. I'm not really sure there's enough soap in the world to get his bangs and beard white again.

You have to do this by next Saturday (December 10th) at noon. I'll announce the winner that evening. If you really wanted to, you could also "Like" her for Facebook.

Maybe then she'd be in a good mood and bring me a treat! Just don't tell the human I'm doing this.

Retirement and Giveaway

I've been trying to decide how to spend my retirement. After all, Bambi is growing up and won't need her Maaa as much anymore.

I'm thinking about taking up knitting. It's not that I really want to, but I did notice that Jack seems to really need a nice knitted cap for the winter.

Why on earth would he butt heads with Marley when he doesn't have horns to protect that skull? I might have to think about that hobby thing a bit more.

The human is hosting a giveaway on her blog. She made a calendar for Eden Hills, and someone is going to win one. Visit her blog HERE for all the details and to enter.

Lucky Goat Winner

The human wrote out all the names of people who entered my giveaway for a $20 gift certificate to Hoegger's Goat Supply.

She folded them and put them in a bowl (she doesn't have any nice big hat to use).

She stirred them up. I wanted to pull out the name, but she thought I'd eat it and she'd have to start over.

So she pulled out the name of one Lucky Goat Winner...

Michelle from Goat Berries. I will be in contact by e-mail to get your information (actually, the human is my secretary in this matter).

Thanks to everyone who entered my giveaway.

Millionaire Goat & Giveaway

I'm a winner! I won! I won!

Psych! Seriously, I told you the human is full of Blarney. Rubbing my horns and kissing my forehead does not mean I'm going to win the lottery. Really, I can't believe how silly humans are sometimes.

I'm still a lucky goat. Look at all the wonderful comments people left for me. I am blessed with wonderful readers. Everyone is so nice. I have everything I need in this world to be happy. I have big beautiful kids. Bam Bam grew up and got to go to his own forever farm.

I have my health. I'm surrounded by my herd, including two of my older daughters. This is Joe and me. No other human would be sweet enough to keep Joe.

There's a barn full of hay for the winter, and I have a good human to give it to me. What more could I want?

Because I'm so lucky and blessed, I'm going to have a giveaway. I'm giving one lucky person (or goat, horse, etc.) a $20 gift certificate to Hoegger Supply Company. They are the ultimate in goat suppliers. Don't think you have to have a goat companion to want this. They also have books, cards, clothing, and all kinds of great goatie things. It's where the human got her favorite mug.

To enter, leave a comment on this post. Once you leave your comment you will get three more entries if you are a follower of my blog. Sign up if you aren't already a follower. You can get three more entries if you write about my giveaway on your blog and come back to let me know. That's a possible total of seven entries! The drawing will close at the end of the day next Thursday, and the winner will be announced Friday, July 16th. May the luck of the Millie goat be with you!

Pam, Mason, and Giveaway

Look at Pam and Mason. Her little boy isn't so little anymore. He is just two months old. Do you think she's going to be able to keep up with feeding herself and her boy for another month.

It's even more obvious in the picture below. He's getting to be such a huge boy. What would she do if she had twins? I can feed my kids, and sometimes even more (yes, Kizzy, I mean you).

On a totally different note, my human wanted me to tell you about the giveaway she is hosting. I was excited to do this for her, but then she told me I couldn't win because I was affiliated with Eden Hills.

It's not like I really wanted the cat. It doesn't look like it would taste very good, but it would be nice to at least get something for this favor. She agreed and brought me some hay so I didn't have to go eat in the pasture. I must say it's warm, and I'm getting very pregnant. So, click here to visit her blog and enter the giveaway.
