A Race

The rain delayed making my hay. I was very upset and afraid it was just going to sit there and rot. Well, today the nephew and the boy started baling my hay.

Yummy, yummy hay. Doesn't it look good. Well, the clouds threatened.

The baler broke.

It was a fiasco. Finally, the boy brought a few bales here, and the human's friend, Mrs. Dash, added some seasoning to the hay.

Some was pretty wet, so she threw them in and said we should eat them before they went bad.

While the nephew was delivering these bales, the nephew was making stacks for the cows. It's not quite the hay we had anticipated, but it isn't going to waste.

It is a shame you are not closer I would give you some of the male person's hay salt.

Pricilla~the human's friend Mrs. Dash seasoned it with salt. That should keep it from molding.

The rest of it in the stacks should be okay because it is packed loosely to let air around it. It's just that we would knock it down, so it goes to those cows now.

None (or very little) was actually lost.
