Kids at Play

We've had seventeen kids born since last Wednesday. They are starting to come outside and meet each other and play! Most of the kids have names now, too, so I thought I'd let you see them all.

Here's Litha and her triplet boys: Felix, Chuck, and Oscar.

Look! It's a push-me-pull-me. Just kidding! It's Kizzy's twins.

Here they are where you can see the cute ends too. Kizzy, Bonnie sideways, and Blaze facing forward.

As you can see, mineral blocks are a lot of fun for kids. Pebbles's triplets: Rocky, Cinnamon and Bullwinkle.

Here's Meg and her twin boys that were born yesterday. They are Xavier and Xander (brown).

Not even a full day old, and they are already playing!

Xavier seems to be quite photogenic, just like his mom.

It seems that blogging has had its influence on the names around here, even beyond the names starting with the letter X for Alphabe-Thursday. Sallie's girl is named Raven Sharon Osboer. The Sharon comes from Sharon at Life with Jack n Jill.

Here's Annie and her boys. They are Fowler (dark-colored) and Fionn (light-colored)

Mimi, The Goat Borrower, suggested the name for Fionn MacCumhaill Osboer. Here you go, Mimi! This picture is just for you.

Pam has twin girls. The solid white one is Scout, and the brown and white one is Tayet.

I suggested Tayet for the young lady at In a Goat's Shoes. She's loves soccer, but even better--she loves goats! Isn't our Tayet cute?

Penny's kids don't get out as much because their mom wants to go out to pasture and forgets to come back to feed them. That means the human tends to shut them in. They are also the only two without names. What do you think these two boys should be named?

This is being linked to Verde Farm's Farm Friend Friday.

Pebbles as Mother and More Kids

My darling daughter Pebbles is a very good mother. She's already taking her kids outside to play and get sunshine.

Our weather has turned very nice. She's already teaching them a very important skill--basking.

It looks like my grandkids are very advanced for their age.

They certainly seem to have this basking down.

Cinnamon really excels at this!

They certainly have this basking down pat. I wonder what she'll teach them next.

Oh yeah, Pam had twin girls.

Everyone is doing fine.

Bud Not Drinking

When the human was getting fresh water for the girls in pens, Bud wanted a drink.

His tongue just was not long enough to reach. The human did let him get a drink when she was done filling the bucket.

Kids Out of Control

Kizzy's girls are certainly keeping her on her hooves.

Blaze decided to venture out of their home. Look at Kizzy's mouth. We get to listen to her maaing to her kids all the time.

Of course, I wouldn't want my kid out trying to follow a goose either.

Later, Kizzy was maaing so loudly she got the human's attention. The human was hollering, "Kizzy, are you stuck? Is something killing you?" because she was so loud and insistent in her yelling.

See what the human found when she rounded the corner. "Please help me. My kids. I want my kids."

Her kids were sleeping so nice and sweet in their warm little nook. Kizzy just wanted them back in the lean-to.

Oh, Bonnie and Blaze are certainly going to keep that Kizzy on her hooves.

Our Hay was Eaten

We had so much hay lying on the ground in the barnyard that we had a lovely, soft clean dry place to stay.

Then we had rain and snow and rain and melting snow. That means, we have mud.

The mud ate all of our hay.

Luckily, the human says we're very good at spreading hay around, so we should have a nice clean dry place to lay again very soon.

BABY UPDATE:
Litha had triplet boys this morning. My photographer is falling down on the job. Hopefully she'll have pictures for me tomorrow.

Pebbles's little girl is having a hard time removing either one of her brother's from a teat so she can eat. As a result, she's become a bottle kid.
