Follow That Udder

Kizzy likes to take her tiny buckling, Little Bit, out to pasture with her.  He's awfully small to be out there and not get lost though.

How does he do it?

He follows that udder!

Sometimes, he even gets a snack.

The Last of the Kids

Kizzy had her kids last night, two boys and a girl.

Everyone is doing well, but Kizzy is exhausted.  I don't think that's going to change for a while with triplets.

A Little Christmas Cheer

This weekend (before the snow), I was trying to add a little bit of festive cheer to the barnyard.  Along came my Bambi to check out my poinsettias.

I might have given her the raspberry when she said it was a bit much.

That doesn't mean she should get to eat my flowers.

"Hey, stop that right now."  I'm you're mother. You can't take my flowers!

Great, now I have Kizzy too.

Well, there's only one thing to do when everyone is so jealous of your flowers.

"Nah nah ne nah nah..."

I can't believe what I saw!

Kizzy standing there was pretty normal, but look what the human did.

Even Mary got to try some with her maa.

What Was She Thinking?

Kizzy decided to be an overachiever this year.  She had triplets!  Big triplets!

What was she thinking with having triplets?  Maybe we'll find the answer blowing in the wind.

Indian Summer Pests

We've been having unseasonably warm weather. Around here the humans call it Indian Summer. We just call it hot.

All those nasty little bugs that hadn't been bothering us when it was cool are back.

Kizzy knows how to take care of those flies.

It almost makes me wish I had long floppy flyswatter ears. Almost.

Another Mother Daughter Portrait

The other day I showed you Pistol and her girls. Well, here's Kizzy and her daughters, Bonnie and Blaze.

They have really grown into lovely young ladies. The human says they get to stay too.

Kids Out of Control

Kizzy's girls are certainly keeping her on her hooves.

Blaze decided to venture out of their home. Look at Kizzy's mouth. We get to listen to her maaing to her kids all the time.

Of course, I wouldn't want my kid out trying to follow a goose either.

Later, Kizzy was maaing so loudly she got the human's attention. The human was hollering, "Kizzy, are you stuck? Is something killing you?" because she was so loud and insistent in her yelling.

See what the human found when she rounded the corner. "Please help me. My kids. I want my kids."

Her kids were sleeping so nice and sweet in their warm little nook. Kizzy just wanted them back in the lean-to.

Oh, Bonnie and Blaze are certainly going to keep that Kizzy on her hooves.
