Scary

It was very scary this morning. The red trailer came and they loaded up some of the kids. The human said they were going off to explore the world and find their own forever farm. I don't want Bambi to go find her own forever farm.

I'm so happy she's still here. If you look behind us, you'll see my girl Pebbles still has her daughter, Sugar.

Bekka, my grandkid, is still here too. Her twin brother, Flash, is the only little billy goat left in the buck pen.

Those humans chased Vinnie all over, but she's too fast and slippery, so she and Pistol are both still here. They're my great-grandkids.

Maybe the human just knows to always keep my descendants!

Winning and Scarlet

I'm a winner! Pricilla the spokesgoat for Happy Goats Soap had a wonderful giveaway, and I won! I won some of her wonderful goat milk soap. You really should check out Pricilla's blog and soaps. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Look at that silly Scarlet.

She had a feather stuck on her nose. I think it tickled.

More Snow

We're getting more snow. I wish I could eat those flowers, snow and all.

The whole hill is white.

I'm so glad the human is feeding us hay.

But, I wish I could eat that too.

Wimpy

What's going on here? The kitty has been treed up in the barn.

Look at that big scaredy cat!

What has him treed?

An itty bitty Bob kitty.

Good Memories

Winter is the time of year that we spend a lot of time just standing around or lying down. That leaves us lots of time for reminiscing. I remember when I was a young girl and the giant tree fell down.

That was a lot of good eating. Meg was clear up top; Minnie is in the middle; I'm the one with her hooves solidly on the ground! We were eight months old. Look how thin I was!

More on the Water

Somebody dumped the big green heated tub. I'm not saying who. All I'm going to say is our favorite game (Bowling for Bud) got a little out of control.

Anyhow, the human said she wasn't refilling it because the cattle tank was working. Litha believed her.

Jeeze...why doesn't she just jump in for a swim? She's drooling like a bovine.

She might think it's lip-smacking good, but I'm not getting mine shocked.

I'll just wait for her to fill the tub again. But I am getting a bit thirsty.

Getting in the Spirit

We're under a blizzard warning--our first real snow is here. Bambi was not too happy. Can you hear her, "Maaaaa, I don't like it out here."

Helen is so fuzzy it won't bother her.

Just when we're all standing out here trying to avoid the weather, that darn human brings out something red and white. Maddy really thought it looked like something she wanted no part of.

Sadie wasn't quite so lucky to avoid her, and Maddie seems to find it amusing.

But she does look cute, I guess.

Pam didn't seem to mind it.

Doesn't surprise me she'd try to get on the human's good side by playing along.

Seriously? you really think I need to be subjected to this? in the middle of a blizzard?
