More Tree Eating

I'm not the only one who likes to eat trees.

The human wasn't too happy with Annie eating this one--something about killing it. I don't know. It's yummy bark to eat.

There's also a nice wood pile to climb in and nibble around.

Heather was showing Squirt her favorite bark eating place.

Of course, Bekka and Fancy like my stump.

It's mine.

Yummy!

Acrobatic Kids

Bonnie, Blaze, Xavier, and Cinnamon had fun on the fallen tree.

Blaze is very far up in the tree.

Here come Bonnie and Xavier to join her. Cinnamon is being a bit more cautious, staying down low.

Oops! Bonnie slipped with some help from Xavier.

Don't worry! She's not going to fall.

All better. She's a perfect picture of graceful goatie balance.

That close call was enough for her though. Now she just has to slip past Xaveir to get down.

Bouncy Cinnamon!

Now Blaze has had enough and slips past him.

There she goes.

Xavier wants to know where all his playmates went.

Look Xavier! Blaze is down there!

So much fun to play together!

Don't try that at home, but do visit Farm Friends Friday and Farmgirl Friday.

White Out

It was very white outside this morning. The old chicken pen looked almost solid.

I admit it was kind of pretty.

Our hill was white on white on white.

I wonder how long it's going to look like this.

It makes the cold a little better when it's pretty.

Good Memories

Winter is the time of year that we spend a lot of time just standing around or lying down. That leaves us lots of time for reminiscing. I remember when I was a young girl and the giant tree fell down.

That was a lot of good eating. Meg was clear up top; Minnie is in the middle; I'm the one with her hooves solidly on the ground! We were eight months old. Look how thin I was!
