When the human moved the ducks and peafowl back to their pen (and gave us back our nice building), she just left Naughty Rooster Boy and the two hens. Just left them to free range.
And they were so feather-brained that they stayed in the building. Finally, Naughty Rooster Boy decided that no hen was worth starving for, so he came back out. Now don't think the human was really letting them starve. I saw her throwing them some of MY grain. But they were still in the windowless building all the time. They finally came out.
The human says that the two girls will get bright red combs like Naughty Rooster Boy's when they get some sunshine and find some nice green stuff to eat.
Did you notice how silly he looks since he's molting and losing his tail feathers?

Silly chickens...My girls will hide in the hot hen house all day v's being harassed by our randy Chicken Boy.
The publicist calls them "stupid birds" all the time

What nice looking hens you have! Our chickens are molting too and look kind of patchy in places. =)
