The Big and the Little

See those two girls to the right?  That's Maisie and Victoria.

Maisie, the big sturdy one, is eight months old.  Victoria, the little one, is seventeen months old.  Suppose Maisie is going to try to grow as big as my girl, Joe?

Annie Get Your Lovin'

Annie didn't feel very well for a day or two.  It was nothing serious, just a cold, and she's all better now.

But she sure did play it up to get some lovin' from the human.  Smart girl!

The human wouldn't let me post last night.  Can you believe it.  She blames it on a headache from trimming hooves in the dusty barnyard.  I'm not buying it.

Me's human maa founds a videos of me when me be's 2 1/2 weeks old.  Me's wasn't even livin' in the barn at this time.  Me's was playing wif me's brofer, Miranda.

Happy Turkey Day

I hope all you humans enjoyed Thanksgiving Day (at least those of you in the United States) and remembered to give your goats lots of apple treats (unlike some human here).

Yes, I know Naughty Rooster Boy isn't a turkey, but he's the closest we come, and turkey is nicer than some things he gets called.

Playing Horns

My human aka technical assistant finally figured out how to take a video and get it on the computer, so I'm trying a video today.

Itchies

Clover had the itchies.

We were afraid she wasn't going to be able to reach it at first.

But she got all stretched around and managed to find some relief.

Then Cinnamon had the itchies.

We do love our horns.  They are very useful.

Technical Problems

Stormy, Harley and Haley were lying on the concrete slab.  They are practicing for the next Goat Olympics in synchronized basking.

Haley says she would be perfectly synchronized, but she ran out of concrete.  Darn!  Practice has been cancelled until they can find a bigger chunk of concrete.

Chicken Issues

The human is still milking us with the birds.  Cinnamon seems to be having a bit of a problem with those featherbrained chickens.

She even had one land on her head the other night!  She's a bit nervous now.

Haley is having some chicken problems too.

Least they don't have vultures after them!

Scratching

There are times you just need a good scratching rubdown the sides.  We've discovered that the fence on the peacock pen works perfectly for that.
