I just don't understand those geese.

There's a whole big space, and she sticks her head through the little loop.   There's no figuring out those bird brains.

Mountain Goat

Cheddar has decided to pretend to be a mountain goat.

She's got quite a good imagination and a very tolerant mountain.

If you ask me, Pistol's doe, Lucette, looks awfully comfy.



She has her own little stump hammock.

I wish I could find one that fit me perfectly!

The Little Weaners

Thirteen little bucks are still shut up north to be weaned.  You'd swear they were being killed when their maas are near.  They yell and holler and want to nurse.  As soon as their maas go out to pasture though, the human gives them hay.  She even gives it to them before I get mine!

They look pretty happy!  Silly little weaners!

I Put My Hoof Down

I had to put my hoof down with the human today.

I'm an old goat, and it was really hot.



I told her I wasn't going out to pasture to eat and demanded some hay.

A Noisy Time

It's that noisy time of year when the human tells us that the little boys have to be weaned.

Feminist Goats

Here at Eden Hills, we believe in does having equal rights.  That means some of the maas here think the bucks should do their fair share of raising the kids.

Those daddy and granddaddy bucks do a pretty good job of looking after the kids.
