Casey is just too short!
Maybe he'll keep growing, but I doubt it.

Naughty Mary
With our confinement in the barnyard, some little goat has been bored.
That means she's become naughty.
For some reason the human doesn't like it when we eat bark off her big trees.
Does Mary look like she's sorry?

A Yummy Treat
We have a yummy treat in pasture.
See...
If you've never tried soft redwood, it is quite delicious.
Can you curl your tongue out the side of your mouth to really get into eating something delicious? (You can click on the picture to see better.)
See how much Joe enjoys it!
We all try to get a turn.
Maybe the human can get some more of those dead redwood trees out there.
I really think she should.

Conclusion
Well, the next day when we went out to pasture, we found the human's nephew there. He had his big backhoe and panels and the human's dad, and they were messing with the fence and putting in a couple of new gates.
When we got to the door to the nice fresh waterway (where the human yelled at us), we found this.
They closed the door! No problem, we just browsed our way across the pasture
and down the hill.
Lily was checking the fence for any other open doors.
Penny found a way to get some of those nice tall weeds.
So did Bambi (I still won't give up my horns even though she can just put her head through).
They had closed the door down there at the bottom of the hill too.
At least the nephew left us a nice little scrubby tree to eat.
Joe and Muffin tried going through that big green gate, but it was closed too.
Well, at least now we know where we're not wanted, don't we.
