Visiting Iowa State University

We had a big adventure today. It wasn't for a very good reason. Pam is very sick. The human made Pam, Minnie, Joe and me get on that trailer.

It was very scary. They took us to a big building at Iowa State University. It was called the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center.

They backed the trailer up to this big round place and we walked through a lot of LOUD metal gates.
Pam was on one side by herself.

Minnie, Joe, and I were on the other side.

They treated us like queens! They brought us hay and water.

Minnie said, "What! I'm stress eating. Leave me alone." I admit it was very loud and scary. Then it was boring.

My Joe was the heroine. They took 1.2 liters of her blood and gave to Pam.

Pam was so sick that she stayed at the hospital. Not only is she very anemic, but they discovered she was filled with drug resistant worms.

They told the human she did everything right, but she was still very upset and worried. We're all worried about Pam.

Linking to Farm Friend Friday.
