John Wayne to the Rescue: The Conclusion

Our hero was locked in a gun battle with Big Bad Bud.

Suddenly, Big Bad Bud put his head down in shame.

He called out, "Don't shoot me.  Please, I just couldn't resist the yummy corn.

Here, you can take it back to Flower.  I promise I'll never steal again."

Being a grand hero, John Wayne took the corn and returned to Flower.

She was very happy to see her corn.

"My hero."

Then John Wayne tipped his hat and browsed his way back to the open trail.

Of course, he returned home to his loyal human for some snuzzling.

The end.

John Wayne to the Rescue: Part II

When we left our hero, John Wayne, he was looking for Big Bad Bud who had stolen corn from the beautiful Flower.

He searched high,

and he searched low.

He kept looking all through the woods.

Then he saw the spunky cowgirl Cinnamon Oakley.  "Howdy there, ma'am.  Have you seen Big Bad Bud?"

She tossed her head and said, "He went that way."

"Thank you, ma'am."  Off he went.

Who was that hiding in the grass?

Finally he met up with Big Bad Bud.

He grabbed his one-shot.

Then there was a gunfight!

Bang!  Bang!

John Wayne to the Rescue: Part I

The beautiful flower was distraught when our hero, John Wayne, arrived.  (That be's me.)

"What's wrong ma'am?"

"The villain, Big Bad Bud was here.  He stole my corn.

Our cook, Hop Sing Moxon, tells me that there isn't a single kernel left.

Now we've nothing to eat.  My kids will starve."

"Now don't you worry none.  I'll get your corn back for you.

Wayne grabbed his trusty one-shot and off he went.

He traveled across the barnyard

and up the deck.

He went down the steps.

Finally, he ran across another goat basking in the sunlight.  It was the famous Calamity Cookie.  He stopped to ask, "Have you seen Big Bad Bud?"

"Nope," was the only reply, so off he went.
