Snowstorm!

While Myson was busy telling his murder mystery story, I couldn't blog.  Look what happened!

Luckily the human came with her fun little thingy there and cleared enough space for us to have our food pans set out.

I do think she has us a bit crowded though.  She could have cleared a bigger space.

For some reason, Maisie is always in a snowdrift or has her face covered in snow after these storms.  We don't know why.

Pistol and Clover got stuck napping outside.

Those of us lucky enough to be higher up in the herd order or have a mom who's higher up gets to nap in the barn.

Of course, others just hide behind the llama.

The human said we're supposed to get more snow this week!  Maybe we should hang on to our winter coats for a while.

Itchy

We're getting itchy for spring.

Really, our winter coats are all getting loose and we're starting to shed our undercoats.

Albert Smooth Solves a Murder II

You might remember out hero, Albert Smooth was searching for the evil murderer of the innocent cardinal.

He had already learned that Bob Cat was seen lurking in the bushes near the body.  Albert Smooth, goat detective, had his trusty assistant bring in the cat for questioning.

Bob swore he was innocent.

Still he was acting all weird.  But the autopsy report came in and stated the bird died of natural causes, so the cat was released.  Soon, Mary came running in to tell them she had found another victim!

Well, half a victim.  Albert Smooth began questioning witnesses again.

This time he talked to the herd queen, Minnie Pearl.  She said Bob was known to stalk mice.

Now, he was getting reports of seeing Bob stalking the innocent mouse, sitting outside his door for hours.

With all that evidence, Bob was arrested by Albert Smooth.

He was locked in jail, never to be seen in the barnyard again!

Albert Smooth, goat detective, became the hero of the barnyard!

The End.

We sent our barnyard goat detective, Albert Smooth, to investigate.

It was a body!

It looked like fowl play.  Albert Smooth decided to investigate!

He found all kinds of witnesses to question.  He questioned Jelly over lunch.

He talked to Litha.
