Vinnie's Turn

Vinnie decided to have her baby last night. It was rainy and we were all crowded in the building, so the human borrowed Bambi's collar and put it on Vinnie and drug her heels dug in to the clean dry building across the barnyard. There, she had one big Flash daughter.

Vinnie seems to think she was worth all the work.

Do you remember way back when Scarlet had her triplets, I told you Muffin would be next. Well, the human told me she was next. Since then we figured out the human's list of due dates wasn't worth anything except a little extra fiber in Minnie's diet. Here's Muffin.

The Kids Discover the Stumps

Isobelle discovered the little stump in the pasture.

Her mom keeps a close eye on her.

Jilly's Twins and Pebbles's Sextuplets

Jilly had twins yesterday! One looks an awful lot like her daddy, Marley, with Momma's wattles.

The other one is very cute too.

They're not new, but here is my girl Pebbles and her sextuplets. What? How does that girl keep gaining kids.

There's her triplets, Rocky, Bullwinkle, and Cinnamon, Annie's boy Fionn that adopted Pebbles after his mom rejected him, and her grandkids, Link and Copper.

I swear that girl is a kid magnet. At least she's only feeding two!

But it might be time to wean.

Cookie is a Showoff

Winnie was having fun standing on her mom when her Aunt Cookie decided she would show her.

She had her eyes on the bench of the picnic table. Think she can do it?

Luckily, kids bounce, so the only thing she hurt was her pride.

More Babies

We've had three more girls have babies. It's kind of bittersweet.

Sadie had twins, a boy and a girl. Unfortunately, her little boy, Silas, got bad genes from Jack. He died, but she's very happy to still have her very little girl, Sarah.

Sugar has a big girl, Ella. She's awfully cute and sweet, and she's my great-grandkid!

Helen had her baby, too. She had one big boy, and he had the same bad genes as Silas. Helen is very sad.

The human is going to try and train her to be a milking nanny (Why would anyone need training to stand there and eat?). I hope she likes it.

Fancy: Queen of the Picnic Table

Fancy thinks she's queen of the picnic table.

She pushed my Bambi off the table. I think she cheated.

None of the other girls wanted to challenge her.

There's only one kid who would accept her challenge~Fowler.

Pistol and the Aliens

I must say this morning I saw a very strange sight. Pistol was being attacked by aliens.

It started innocently. She was enjoying one little alien, washing it and talking to it and enjoying herself.

Then the human came out and put another little alien down beside her.

There were two of them! They were attacking her!

Pistol would back up, and they would just keep coming after her.

They were sucking the life out of her!

After panicking and trying to get away from them, the human put her in a little cage with them. She stared and stared and stared. Finally, she realized they weren't aliens, and she had simply given birth to two babies.

I brought my Bambi over to explain things to her. That way when she has kids next year, she won't think she's being attacked by aliens.

Some nannies need to do a better job of preparing their kids for kids.
