Dry Pasture

If you've seen some of my last posts, you've seen lots of mud in the barnyard. We had to stand on the picnic table, and then we still had mud between our toes.

Today the snow had all melted in the pasture, and we went out there.

Look at the dry grass.

It was so nice--a very nice day for a walk out to pasture.

It was a bit breezy. See Meg's beard blowing in the wind.

It was a very nice sunny day.

We did enjoy ourselves out there today.

Tomorrow it's supposed to rain again, but today was wonderful!

Favorite Winter Activity

Our favorite winter activity (besides eating) is basking! Today was a perfect day for basking. The snow quit. The wind quit. The sun came out.

Meg and Fancy took one of my favorite basking places.

Pebbles was basking by the fence.

So was Sally.

Later, Fancy was basking on our picnic table.

Betty Lou was basking against me!

Even Bob Cat thought it was a good day to let the sun shine on his tummy.

We're happy to share our sunshine with those that haven't seen it for a while.
