We're Still Freezing

It's stupid cold.  Really.

We have a big ox blocking the doorway.

Did I mention it's cold?

We're really getting close to kids arriving.  The Human better do something about this cold.  My Bambi should be in the house instead of that silly chicken.

The Biggest Peanut Hog

Someone decided he likes peanuts.

We don't think that's fair.  They're our peanuts!

Having a Hay Day!

The human usually gives us grass hay.  She put a bale of alfalfa hay out!  We were very excited!

Everyone wanted to get some.

Some goats were being piggy goats.

She finally had to tell some of us to, "Step away from the steer."

"The big guy needs to eat too," she tells us.  Like we haven't noticed how much of our hay he's eating!

Cookie (and Sallie) should be very happy that big ox doesn't spit.

Excuse Me

This big ox is always lying in the doorway.  He's taking up a lot of our basking space.

He fills the whole doorway.  He even opened it up, so he'd fit.

It wasn't nearly that open when we started the fall.

Moove Over

Look at this!  It's wrong.  That big fat ox isn't supposed to be over here.

He needs to get back on his own side of the barn and barnyard.

We just need someone brave enough to tell him.

It's not going to be me!

Bad Bovine

You know we share our pasture with a couple of bovine.  Well, they decided they wanted to spend time in our barn.

I wasn't sure we should let them, but, being a nice goat, I decided to let them stay.

I've decided I shouldn't be so nice.  Look what they did!

I can't believe this!  This is just wrong!!!!

A Sad Boy

The human thought MJ died of a broken heart.

She came closer and watched to see if he was breathing.

Luckily he was just taking a nap.  He looks kind of sweet sleeping like that.

He was all flopped out in the lane

because he wanted to be as close to Maxine and her baby, Norma Jean, as he could get.

That's a big heart to be so sad and lonely.

"Please, I want my woman and baby back."
