Work, Work, Work

I just read how my good goat friend Pricilla's publicist wanted her to stand around and pose for pictures...for her publicist's blog.  Not even her own!  I told Pricilla she needed to put her hoof down.  Now I think I need to take my own advice.

The human made me write a guest blog post on her poetry blog.  I think I made a great poem, and then she just used it to try to sell copies of her novel.

tap, tap, tap under the silvery moon
old barn boards as my drum
tap, tap, tap a soothing rhythm
as I play my goat horns
chewing cud and ruminating on
the perfect life this old goat has
tap, tap, tap through the night
a comfort for my herd to hear

Did I mention she made me be a character in her book?

Now she made me pose for publicity shots.  She made me stand there surrounded by all kinds of yummy browse...weeds and mulberry bushes and flowers and nettles.

She wouldn't let me eat them!

Next time she says, "Millie, can you come here a minute?" this is going to be my answer!

That will show her!

A Character

Today, I'm donning my other horns.  Instead of being a famous, musical blogging goat, I'm working as the spokesgoat for...

my human.

See, she wrote a novel and I am one of the "characters" in her book.

So's Bob.

She wanted me to tell you that her novel, The Elements, is available through Amazon.  She is also hosting a giveaway at Goodreads.  You can enter the giveaway through the sidebar widget.  Be warned though, this isn't a book for kids, only mature bucks and does.

All of us animals at Eden Hills would appreciate it if you helped spread the news about our human's book, so everybody buys it.  Maybe then she'd be able to stay home with us all the time!

Waiting

I am just waiting to be a grandnanny again.

Bambi is due on March 22, and she's getting kind of big.

The human says she doesn't have time for me to get on the computer and post much.  She's too busy with "author" stuff.

She's even hosting a giveaway for her novel on her blog.  Anyhow this is my warning that I might not get to post very much.  Maybe you guys can change her mind...

Linking to Farmgirl Friday.
