Love Hurts

I have to do another public service announcement: If you think love hurts, it's not supposed to.

We're staging an intervention for Pistol.

We've told her that when the buck loves you such that your ear is bloody and bruised, you really just need to walk away from the pen.

It doesn't matter how badly you're in heat.

Go stand by some other buck that isn't going to bite your ear like that.

Think about the example you're setting for your kids.

I hope she listens to us.

Showoff

Someone is showing off his new tail feathers.

They are really starting to grow in.

He might be a birdbrain, but is awfully handsome.

Vinnie's Dilemma

Vinnie likes to jump up in the manger and eat her hay. Unfortunately she tends to rub her neck on the boards.

Look at that naked neck! She needs a scarf.

Maybe she can get her very fuzzy daughter Victoria to curl up next to her and keep her warm.

She's going to need something.

Casey's Woes

Remember how Casey is a little leaf vacuum and the human spoiled him pathetically? He would see her and come running.

I just watch and think about how sad that little goat is going to be.

He's enjoy those leaves, but that is about to end.

I don't know how the human happened to find that leaf.

Now he just has happy memories of leaves.

Look at the maple tree.

The only leaf left on it is already brown and dead.

He can just stand at the gate and beg. Poor boy...

Spring is a long ways off.

Art Appreciation

The human is trying to help us be more cultured and civilized, so she brought in a mural to put over the front of the Love Shack.

She said it would brighten things up and try to make it look less run-down.

We're almost living in a slum. Fionn was getting embarrassed living in there.

Fionn doesn't look too sure about this new artwork.

The human's boy came out to visit the other day. Luckily, he ignored us.

Coral Gets Some Supper

The human gives us some supper of hay every evening.

She makes sure there's enough for everyone to eat.

Coral enjoys her hay.

I wonder what she's digging for.

She knows that all the most tasty morsels are on the bottom.

Hay is good, but I think I should get some kind of treat every day.
