We were all out in pasture the other day.

Muffin came out completely covered.

I almost felt bad for her.

Chicks on the Loose

Those little chicks that the human kept telling us were in the building have made their way out. This little lady is very brave.

She will stand right by the peacock.

He's big and scary and coming to check her out.

She must not be such a bird brain after all because she's not hanging around for him to get any closer!

A Much Better Treat

After yesterday's pepper fiasco when the human tried poisoning me by feeding me peppers, I was a bit nervous when she came out to see me. No more peppers!

Wait. I know what that is.

Hey, Lotus doesn't need an apology apple. Really. That's mine, isn't it?

Not Bambi.

I'm her mother, and I say she doesn't need apple. I'll just take that.

Cinnamon is too young for apples. Sure, that's it.

You Call That a Treat!

Those things are bright and colorful and pretty!

I was enjoying a nap in the barn when the human brought one out to me.

I was excited to have a nice tasty treat.

Yuck! That's what I think of that pepper.

If you think I'm being picky, it wasn't just me.

Coffee didn't want it.

Opal wouldn't eat it, and she's a food-a-holic.

Dolly turned her nose up at it.

Lotus said, "No way!"

Not even Cutie would try it.

She can take those peppers and try to find some other goat to eat them. We don't want them, but I would like a real treat. Please...

Edit: Pricilla was kind enough to point out that we wouldn't eat those peppers because they belong to the nightshade family, and they are very bad for us. Stupid human. All of you other humans now know not to feed your goats peppers.

A Llama Tail

Can you see what's on my hay down there.

The llama! I'm not sure I want hay that the llama's been using for a bed.

You'll never guess what happened to that silly Djali later in the day. What's he staring at?

The hay bed was getting raked into windrows."Help! It's after me!"

He thought that tractor was still chasing him.

Silly llama.

Fionn's Been Watching His Dad

Fionn is in the buck pen with his dad, Marley. He's growing up and getting a beard. He's been watching his dad, and now he's starting to act like him.

He's standing on the stump.

Fionn won't let anyone else take that stump from him.

Now he's even watching all of us girls like his daddy does.

It's enough to give a girl a complex.

Looking for a Door

See that fence. We're looking for a door to go through.

We'd really like to help get rid of all those tasty brambles and undergrowth.

Those trees look so delicious. We just need a door.

You'd think the human would be kind enough to make one for us. I guess we'll just have to keep looking to see where there's a place to walk through.

A Friendly Breeze

Betty Lou loves maple leaves. The problem is she can't reach them.

The human calls this dream wishing. No matter how hard she wishes, she can only dream about eating those leaves.

Still she puts all her focus on the leaves.

Oops. Forget to focus on the edge of the table.

Still, if she tries really hard

the wind just might help her out.

She just might get it!

Now she's not going to let go.
