Which One?

One of these things is not like the others.

One of these things does not belong.

Which one of these things is different?

Which one of these things is not playing?

Which one of these is about to be stepped on?

One of these things is not happy.

Which one of these things is ready to flee?

So long Bob cat!

Pistol's Helper

Pistol's little kids are getting some extra milk. That milk comes from Minnie and Helen and now Meg. But look who stopped by to give the milk to the girls. Claire Bear was here! She fed Coral.

Then she fed Clover.

After feeding the bottle kids, she went exploring. She found Hickory.

It was quite a lesson to see where the other kids got their milk.

She found the goslings.

She never did come see me,

but I guess kids prefer kids!

Over Achieving

Pistol seems to be an over achiever. Of the four yearling does to have kids, she's the only one to have twins.

Vixen has her Isobelle.

Sugar has her Ella.

Vinnie has her Victoria.

Pistol has Coral and Clover.

If she has to have help feeding them, though, is she over-achieving?

A Ruckus

There's a big ruckus in the middle part of the barn. It's hard to believe these two itty bitty fluff balls could cause such a big ruckus.

It's probably because they have six or seven parents all fighting over them. The human says they are bad parents.

She doesn't want the little balls of fluff squashed.

She thinks she's found a forever farm for them.

That would be good, and then it could be peaceful again.

A Theory Disproved

Remember the human's theory that Muffin was not pregnant, just fat and gassy? Well, she proved the human wrong today.

No wonder she was so big!

Without as much as a belch, she opened the oven and out came a big Jelly girl.

She also had an even bigger Rolly boy.

So much for gas. ~Burp~Oh, excuse me.

Double Snuzzle

The human gets a double snuzzle.

It's twins, Clover and Coral. Those girls really know how to work a human!

Those two get whatever they want. Of course, right now all they want is cuddles and their mom's milk.

Coral

Clover

It's a Theory

The human has a new theory. Muffin isn't bred. She's just really fat. And maybe has a hormone issue going on.

All that rocking and rolling of her gut~gas.

Yep, that's the new theory. How do you think that theory is going to turn out?

A Birthday

Today is the Summer Solstice. Today is two very special birthdays around here. Maddie's twins, Litha and Stormy.

Happy birthday, Litha!

Happy birthday, Stormy!

There's a time or so this spring that we weren't sure Stormy would make it to see her third birthday because she was so sick after having her triplets. She's much better now.

Happy Birthday! Happy Solstice!

Coral

For such a young kid, Coral has it all figured out!

She has not just the human, but the human's mother wrapped around her little hoof.

All she has to do is walk over to a human and give them a little snuzzle on the leg, and they pick her up.

This little girl is constantly showered with kisses! She certainly has them right where she wants them.

This one is one very smart little lady.

More Human Excuses

A very long time ago, after the March babies arrived, the human let them and their moms out in the BIG pasture.

She said the rest of us had to stay in our little pasture because there were owl babies we might scare out of the nest. Well, the owls are gone.

Then the excuse was that there wasn't a fence.

Now what's the excuse. She's afraid the new babies will get lost in all that tall grass.

Am I ever going to get to go eat all that tall yummy grass?

What's her next excuse going to be?

Ballet

Isn't Isobelle a lovely young lady?

She heard that Isobelle Golightly, her namesake, was a ballerina.

She's practicing ballet. Look at that form~the point of the tail; the angle of the ears.

She want's to grow up to be just as beautiful and just as talented as Isobelle Golightly!
