My Pumpkins are Harvested

Remember my pumpkin garden. Well, some goats (I won't say who) started nibbling my pumpkin plant.

Pretty soon, it looked like this.

Darn goats! We sampled the mini pumpkins, but they didn't taste very good.

Today, the human gathered up all my pumpkins. Look at all my pumpkins!

Then she brought out a pumpkin for me, but before she could get to me, my girl Joe smelled it.

She was determined to get that pumpkin!

Finally she got her bite.

She wasn't about to let anyone else have her bite.

Then the human brought the rest over for me to try.

I did enjoy a nice little sample of my pumpkin.

I think next year I might try growing watermelons. That sounds good.

  2. You're a very good gardener Millie. I should try to get Lucky Nickel to do some gardening for me. Next year we shall grow pumpkins, I think. I doubt she will want to help, unless it involves eating the seeds.

  3. Pumpkin seeds are a natural wormer for livestock, they must have thought it tastes better then panacur or ivermectin!
